Great location by the sulphur baths

Perfectly located just a few steps from the sulphur baths with a decent breakfast selection. Some curtains in the room were stained, but otherwise no real faults or issues. Would recommend if you want to stay in heart of old Tbilisi.

Great location, perfect for a city trip.

We had a lovely stay! The room was nice and comfortable, but the real highlight was the spacious terrace with a stunning view over the old town and one of the sulfur baths. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Everything was clean, and we really appreciated being able to check in early. Breakfast was fine, though nothing special. One thing to note is that it was quite noisy overnight because of the bars next door, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Parking can also be troublesome; we were lucky to find a spot, but in general parking in the old town isn’t great. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room with all the main facilities needed. The hotel is up a set of stairs so anyone with mobility issues would need to consider whether this location is suitable. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate with a choice of eggs, omelettes etc that are cooked to order.

The hotel and staff were great, Breakfast was plentiful. Ideal location to Metekhi Square for mealsand access to shops and tours. Down side you need to be dropped off below the turkish baths and go up stairs which are narrow and quite a lot of them to access the hotel. Apart from that had a fantastic stay with them and would recommend them 👌

Excellent. Beautiful balcony overlooking the sulphur baths in very pretty, historic area of town. Short stroll to restaurants and bars, Indoor and well heated outdoor areas. So many wine shops! Staff were really helpful and available 24 hours. Bathroom was excellent, heating and air con worked well. Hotel close to museums, churches and squares and easy walking distance to so much history. Very proud people who work hard to ensure you get the best out of the country.

I cannot say that the staff in the reception is welcoming and friendly. They did seldom smile, especially that tall guy who even did not greet me when I was passing by in the reception. Since there was no toothbrush in the room, I asked for it from that tall guy who gave me immediately but you could not sense his friendliness when he was giving it to you. No smile at all was wearing on his face. Breakfast was basically good, and the staff working in the kitchen were friendly. Omelette was delicious.

A gem of a hotel with a committed staff.

5 stars! Khokhobi is a unique collection of 4 historic old-town houses with filigreed balconies refurbished inside for modern requirements. Lobby and breakfast room were surprisingly large. Great location for touring Tbilisi on foot, next door to gorgeous blue Persian-tile hammam (Turkish bath) with hotel discount. Plenty of eating places/bars/shops/trip providers within easy walking distance. (Meidan is a short walk west along river.) Breakfast was extensive -- pancakes, eggs cooked to order -- and open till 11am for night owls! CAVEATS There is so much wonderful about Khokhobi, but it may not work for every traveler. Quite a few steps up a sidewalk to the ENTRANCE of the hotel. (A lift/elevator is inside, thankfully!) Not very accessible for people with lots of luggage, although I know the 4 friendly desk staff would be happy to help. The closest taxis can approach is the parking barrier on Abano St., but it's a tiny 1-min. walk. (Hotel was excellent at booking affordable taxis for me btw.) FINDING the hotel is tricky on first arrival. Head toward the beautiful Persian-style (Orbeliani) bath. It looks like a mosque, but it isn't! Immediately on the right is a private sidewalk that goes up behind the baths. Rooms were very cleanly, but as humid as Tbilisi gets in the summer, there was a bit of mustiness in the room air. Khokhobi may be in a "back corner," but it isn't "quiet" till closer till 11pm due to bars' live music (but rooms are acceptably soundproof).

Really nice stay right near the sulphur baths in Tbilisi. The hotel was very accommodating and even helped us out with a number of things, like getting a suit pressed on short notice. We also really liked the breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
