"The Beechtree was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Check in was a breeze and Bob was wonderful to deal with! Traveling as a family of 4 it was spacious enough that we were comfortable. The rooms were a good size and ours had a stove top, microwave, mini fridge and sink area with a good range of equipment if you were wanting to cook (which we didnt get to utilize). Across the road was a Four Square mini supermarket, butcher, café and Chinese takeaway so brilliant to have all that just a few steps away! I would definitely recommend the Beechtree and would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"The room was clean, had everything we needed , beds were comfy very comfy , had all the amenities including air con and running hot water which catered to me and my family of 4. Very quiet and you even get views of Lake Taupo from the room . For the price we paid we got more than we bargained for 👏. Props to the house keepers whom work hard day in day out to get these rooms looking the way they do for guests. Only downside is when you’re going to the pools be mindful it’s A steep walk down and then back up once you are done swimming . That’s the biggest downfall with De Bretts , and run down."
