"Hotel is in great location, 2’ walk from the cove and close to all walking trails. Parking is easy (£5 per day). View from the balcony was great. Room was big and clean, although quite noisy (old building). Decoration is very charming, ‘beachcomber style’. Very friendly staff. Shower had only warm to hot water. We did not get roomkeeping during our 2 night stay, which is a bit weird in a 4* hotel. We didn’t bother too much and just asked refillments at the bar. Dinner in the restaurant was ok...

"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. "My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay."

"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."
