"The hotel is all about location - you’re paying for that and I think it’s not really worth the layout.
The hotel itself is quite tired and the rooms need a good update and are pretty basic.
The gym is old and small, no air con so got hot very quickly.
The pool and
beach are beautiful though. "

"Be amazed by the spectacular view from in front of the hotel. You will see Mount Etna and the
beach, and you will think, oh, I am so glad I stayed here. The view from the breakfast room is also breathtaking.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, telling us how to get where we wanted to go, how long it would take, recommendations for places to eat, etc. I sincerely appreciate it.
The facility is a bit old and we were concerned about the smell of the drainage pipes."

"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer.
What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home.
A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Whether I needed directions, recommendations, or just a friendly conversation, Mohammed was consistently attentive and thoughtful. His hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a hotel with a great location and genuinely caring staff, the Splendid Hotel is a fantastic choice. I am already looking forward to my next visit!"
