"The studios are a very odd design; the tv comes up out of the sofa meaning the only option is to watch it in bed ( the bed is in the middle of the room) and the sofa faces the window. Would have been much more useful having the bed head against the wall and the tv on the adjacent wall with the tv on the adjacent wall. No tea or coffee facilities that we could find and unless you studied the control panel before dark, you could easily open the curtains rather than turn the bathroom light on in...

"Location was as I had hoped, lovely beach access, bus stops, Currumbin Sanctuary and general store opposite, easy walks to Currumbin Surf Club and Tugun. The apartment was quirky, furnished with odd furniture and op shop style decor, a noisy single bed was unsuitable with squeaky springs. People noise from other apartments was often disturbing and being directly under the flight path to the airport was also an issue throughout my stay, I wouldn’t recommend or return. "

The room comes with a beautiful buffet breakfast with lots of selection. My only complaint was that the twin king beds needed a mechanism to lock the wheels. "Pros: Location is excellent and front end staff fantastic. Parking under building a superb bonus. Cons: apartment rundown so cost reflected this. Hot water was near non existent unless both showers used simultaneously. Lucky we didn’t need to be there a lot so easy to deal with."

"Room didn't seem clean despite the smell of floor cleaner. Ants, live and dead, kept dropping on the bed from a non-working light socket above the bed. Had to move the bed to other part of the room to allow us to sleep. Resort was noisy, with a group in the picnic area below our room. For all these issues, we could not report any of these due to very limited hours over the weekend that the reception was open."

Cant thank the night duty guy enough who went above and beyond to help change bedding at 3am and provide extra linen.
