Very nice stay in the middle of the park. Renovated hotel with its own colonial atmosphere. Clean room, friendly staff, AC. Everything was just perfect.
Very quiet, comfortable old fashioned rooms and no frills furnishings. The emphasis here is the natural environment and with no TVs or night life. The dining hall food was surprisingly good and James, our waiter each night was excellent.
The boat cruise was the highlight.
We would have enjoyed a guided hike around the property by a ranger but I think they don’t have enough rangers. Overall a great two days
Wonderful, clean, great staff and excellent restaurant. Grounds and spring surpass anything anywhere.

Charming beautiful place. Service was good, although a service request was not addressed. Our room had no cold water and when reported it was not acted on. However a complimentary breakfast was given. All in all a wonderful place and we would return.
Spotless room, very comfortable beds and good choices on the menu at the restaurant.

We stayed for three nights in our room was not cleaned once while we were there. Our bathtub bottom was wobbly, it was like standing on an exercise, balance cushion , and seemed very unsafe.
Some of the staff were really nice, but one young woman at the check-in desk in particular was very standoffish and unwelcoming.
Boat trip was awesome. Scenery was really nice. The woman who ran the boat trip was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant.
A great old hotel. Very comfortable, spacious room. Quiet, and such a pleasant atmosphere. We stayed two nights and we're sorry to leave. How can you beat staying in a state park lodge? A very good dining room with excellent food and very attentive staff. If you haven't seen or been in the spring, you are really missing something - delightful!
It’s a historical old hotel but they have kept it up great. The food is really good. Nice dining area. And they offer a coffee station in the morning.
Very nice and well worth it!
Great historical lodge steps from the springs. Awesome jungle cruise with lots of wildlife. Saw alligators and fish on the boardwalk trail. Good food in the restaurant and soda shop.
The entire facility was excellent with our rating of 10+. It was a beautiful historic place with excellent upkeep. The rooms were amazing and up to date. The employees were helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable.
Great lodge! Lots of super cool historical pieces. The lodge staff was fantastic, very accommodating and friendly. Room was nice, very spacious, though the coffee and food wasn’t anything to write home about. The staff and history absolutely made it worth the trip!
June at the front desk was amazing. Beautiful hotel. The food was just okay(burger and potatoes were both dry), but the rest of our experience was great. Super comfy beds, even my 4 year old slept in. Such a clean place and I loved being able to soak in the tub (it was pretty deep)! We even saw turtles laying eggs.
This is a fabulous historic lodge! It was so peaceful for some rest and relaxation. My one complaint was that the AC was not working in the room. The staff were all very nice about it, and did provide us with a box fan for the evening. I will return to the Lodge again in the future.
