"The room was very big with a beautiful view of the forest. There was a nice wooden bath in the room and a very large communal bath. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, but there is only Japanese food and green tea, so if you want something else you should take it with you. All in all it was a wonderful ryokan experience at a very reasonable price. "

Upon checkin the friendly Swissotel staff informed me that if I wanted the sofa bed set up as a bed with linens and pillows there...
