Great Value for Money

We were so pleased with our stay at Carmelence Lodge. They even gave us complimentary muffins as a welcome gift. Our room was clean and cozy, the wifi was fast, and staff were friendly. Absolutely great value for the since it included a satisfying breakfast for two which they serve in your room. Only thing that made me paranoid was the lack of security, since the property is an open space that anyone can enter, but not a big deal since we didn’t feel unsafe in the middle of the night. Will consider staying here again next time we go to Tagaytay.

They initially put us in a room that had a diesel generator running constantly and filling the room with fumes. Since we were the only guests it wasn't a problem to move to a room farther away. Staff are pleasant and helpful when prompted. The main road next to the hotel is noisy - jeepneys and trucks. There is no restaurant or bar but the breakfast that was included was very good.

Carmelence Lodge, a special place to remember!

What an amazing place to stay, it was my first time, customer service was excellent, place was clean and very accessible to amenities like grocery store and restaurants. Highly recommended to everyone. Would like to come back again!!!

Nice get-away!

Clean, modern, good value for money.

The Carmelence was a pleasant place and very good value-for-money considering what else is available in Tagaytay. - The room was modern, bright, clean and well-equipped. - Staff were very friendly and attentive. - The provided breakfast was hearty, although they had a hard time delivering it hot. - While the lodge is close to the Nasugbu Highway (main road to center of town), your only public transport option is jeepneys, since there are no taxis in Tagaytay and the Indian-type tuk-tuks aren't permitted that far along the highway. - There's a small mall next door, with a Robinson's grocery. - Some visitors might be bothered by the lodge being located right underneath two enormous microwave towers and just meters away from an electrical sub-station. - Road noise and a nearby videoke joint were not unduly disturbing. - Wifi ran 18-20 MBPS down and 3-8 MBPS up. Multiple boosters and full signal strength. Overall, a good choice for a short stay in Tagaytay.

The location is great as it is close to restaurants and walking distance to Sky Ranch. The room is so nice and spacious. The bathroom is clean, though the shower diverter should be repaired. Went out in the morning to roam around the property and I enjoyed taking pictures of their garden. The food is simple but delicious. It was served inside the room, we want to have our breakfast in the balcony but the sun is not cooperating. I love their tapsilog. :) The staffs are very nice and accommodating. We'll definitely go back!

Lovely small hotel near all the attractions

The hotel is a bit difficult to find as the sign is small and located in a very cluttered location. The staff are wonderful and very helpful.
