The Bull Hotel

"Late online-booking led to some issues with the location end parking nearby. Which was professionally and friendly solved by the staff. The room was rather small for two. Though the bathroom was OK and clean. The hotel has an historical flair and still many original features. Breakfast was plenty een very good. We stayed for one night."

"Had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was excellent. The location was also very convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again."

"Easy to find and easy to park. Lovely helpful staff. This is a huge pub with a night access door which saves having to keep going through the pub. Plenty of outside tables. Comfortable clean room, but no air con. Everything you need with enough plugs including by the bed. The quilt was very heavy and the room was very warm, so it would be good to have a choice of bedding. Our room was at the front on the first floor and was quite noisy. Fabulous cooked to order breakfast with plenty of other options. We enjoyed our stay. There is food available in the pub but there are also lots of eateries in the area."

"The room was a good size, we had a family room for 5. The room was clean and tidy and good amenities in the room itself. The best aspect was the seaview which was fantastic helped by some good October weather. We didn't use the bar much as we were visiting relatives who live in Weymouth - but it looked good with plenty to do. The best thing about staying in the older hotels on the front is access to the beach/Weymouth centre, room size and view. Overall very happy with the hotel and the price. Would definitely stay again - thanks."

"Wasn’t disappointed, booked this as it had good reviews and all I can say is they are all true. Staff are so friendly it was lovely. Room had everything that you could need. We had a room overlooking the car park. (Plenty of free parking for residents) We could hear the road, however, we had the window open as we were very warm and it wasn’t busy overnight. Breakfast was very nice, fresh and plenty of it. We didn’t eat in the evening, however if breakfast is anything to go by we will be on our next stay.All in all, we will be going back. Due to location we could walk to the hospital (which is why we chose this) also walking distance to the main town - even though it is up and down a few hills but a pleasant walk."
