My only criticism is that the hotel restaurant selections are very limited and as a vegetarian there were slim choices. This coupled with no restaurants in walking distance meant more driving. "I stayed with my husband and my nearly 2-year old daughter. In our time in Malta, this was our most enjoyable stay. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. I unfortunately forgot to mention that we needed a travel cot and only the front of house was left by the time we arrived but he kindly set up the travel cot for us. "Such a special night at xara palace - I was able to get an upgrade for my room and am so grateful. The room had a beautiful private balcony and hot tub overlooking Malta, which is an experience that I will never forget. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. The pool is a few minutes away in the car - the hotel provide a lovely driver as a when you wish to use this facility.
