The lady at the front desk was nice but but for $137 room I had to strip the bed of dirty linens and get clean linens from the front desk and make my own bed. The room wasn't cleaned at all.
Let's start this off on a good note, the pillows were comfortable and the shower was hot.
Our room was in need of A LOT of TLC. The room did not have a properly operating door lock. We had a key card, but it was useless since you could actually just push on the door and it opened right up. The room could not be left unattended with our belongings since it was accessible to everyone. Unnerving and frustrating to say the least, we were definitely ready to go somewhere else.
We needed to request remote controls for the TV twice, as it was not initially provided in our room. The bathroom was in desperate need of a good scrubbing - wrappers, dirt and hair were still on the floor; while the door was was covered in dirty (dust or mud) smudges.
The bedside lamp was without lightbulbs and one of the beds had crumbs and hair once the sheets were pulled back.
We checked-in for 5 minutes and checked-out almost immediately after we found another hotel down the road.
The room was totally unacceptable. Carpet is super old and had dark stains like someone vomited on it, otherwise dogs had bad accidents. The room smelled bad. Most importantly, the bed looks like it was left unmade for the next guest. The pillows looked beat up, smelt bad, and old looking.
Sorry, I needed a good rest after a long road trip and thanks God we were able to find another hotel last minute which was super clean and had very comfortable beds.
This property needs a total uplift. Not recommended.
This was a great stay for short term- older motel but clean, breakfast as good as most more expensive places: Overall, a comfortable stay at a great value
