"During the past week I have had two stays at this hotel. The first as a loan lady traveller and the second with my husband.
On my first visit I had had a terrible day and when I checked in I found my room was not to my liking - a personal thing, the room was beautiful but I just didn't feel comfortable. I spoke to the lovely Rhys on reception who was really kind and understanding. He did his very best for me, contact Kate the Manager and sorting me out with one that was exceptional, definitely well above the standard of room that I had booked and paid for.
The hotel could not have been kinder with me, offering to place restaurant reservations or deliveroo orders as there is no evening meal on site.
Both rooms that I stayed in had amazing showers and both had baths which is most unusual these days. A coffee machine and a kettle are provided for hot drinks in the room.
The hairdryer is a good quality one that actually works well.
Bedding is lovely, white cotton but not too crisp that it hurts to lie on.
Breakfast is a definite treat, no buffet styled hot food service here. Everything is cooked to order and there is a great range that can be found on the breakfast menu on the internet.
Everything and everyone displayed the hotels quality and excellent standards. The people that I would like to mention most are Molly, Rhys, Kate, Carys, Hayley and Layla. Thank you for everything. We will be back."
"Outstanding in every way. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. All areas spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful dinner there with a great menu. Room had a beautiful, calming view. "
"The hotel is solid, not a bad stay and the bed was quite comfortable. The property is quite run down though, with ripped / broken carpet, no fridges, and the rooms and hallways have likely not seen renovations for quite some time. Staff were very nice though."
"Very clean hotel in need of renovation. Staff at reception were very polite. Staff in restaurant appeared to have too much time standing around talking amongst themselves.
The meals at breakfast and dinner were very good value for money."
"Fabulous place to stay - clean, spacious room/bathroom with lovely views. Lots of nice places to eat nearby and lovely coastal.
To Note - there is no on site parking and access is via a steep driveway followed by flights of stairs to rooms if you have disabilities or an older dog."
