There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. "

"Really lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. It’s such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. "

"We had a great stay! The family room we had was massive and perfect for what we wanted. It was very, very hot in the room with no way of cooling it down! We really struggled to sleep. We were given 2 fans, but they just blew the hot air around, it was unbareable. BUT because it's an old building we understand there is not a lot that could be done and they can't help the weather, but maybe portable air conditioning units might be worth considering.
