Beautiful views from the property including the private balcony. Nice to have a separate living room space and mini kitchen with plates and silverware for longer stays.
This is a very unique spot to stop and enjoy some time away. Its location is fairly remote- there’s not a lot around it but the restaurant downstairs is very good and obviously popular with the locals. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. The bathroom was fine- please consider a lid for the toilet seat!
The WiFi wasn’t great, but I was okay with having some down time away from the electronics. The area is beautiful in the morning and quite peaceful. You can hear people in the hall and in the adjoining rooms but I had a small fan to drown that out. All in all, definitely a nice spot to stay if you’re in the area.
I stayed here for one night during a visit to the Jamestown area. There is a free car ferry from Jamestown across the James River to Surrey, which is very close to the hotel. The rooms are really nice with great views of the river and the sunset. The price was very reasonable.
Be aware that there is no breakfast and no real place to go get breakfast so bring your own food. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker with coffee. One other small point-I found it annoying that their management company called me one day prior on my phone to get my credit card number and email address. I was in the middle of touring at Jamestown and I really did not want to talk on the phone. All of this could’ve been handled via email in advance and the information should have been available from Expedia.
Overall, it's a nice place to spend a few days away from it all. However, the Internet speed is very slow, so if you are thinking about doing some telework be advised that you won't be able to use zoom or anything like that.
I was very happy with my stay, room was bright and clean and big, resturant down below was a nice touch, I plan to return as long as the cost is affordable
It reminded me of an AirBNB apartment. Check in via phone with a room code. No one on-site except the manager of the restaurant until it closed and then a number to call after hours.
The staircase was outside which wasn’t a problem for us, but could be for others trying to bring their luggage up.
The suite was spacious with a bedroom, kitchen area, TV area/couch/chair and bathroom. All were small but put together made a very spacious accommodation and was much more than we expected for the price. It even had its own little balcony.
The food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing. The seafood that is. The steak was not that great.
The live music on Wednesday carried up to our room but wasn’t louder than the TV and was over by 9 pm
All in all it is a great place to stay. Clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying here. It was a nice, spacious, quiet place. We loved the view of the water & marina. The food at the restaurant there was great. We will definitely be staying here again soon!
I did not know what to expect but this property exceeded all of my expectations. A great place to get away and relax with a wonderful restaurant on the first level. I will be back.
It was very clean and overlooked the marina. Nice little get away for a couple. Take the ferry and you can be in Jamestown in 30 minutes. We would stay again.
Peaceful and beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Loved hanging out of the balcony for sunset. We took the ferry over to the Williamsburg area during the days. Ate dinner downstairs each night. Loved our weekend!
