We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights over Christmas to be close to the family. The room was basic and as expected for a standard motel. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was good which was much needed during our summer stay. Motel was on the Main Street and dining options were within walking distance. Prices were inflated during our stay due to it being Christmas time, would expect to pay less outside of peak time.
There were nil blankets in the cupboards. The bed had a sheet and cover. we had the aircon on excessive heat all night. not good for the power bill. just our thoughts.
the unit was old however very clean.
Fast, easy check in. Room was clean and comfortable with fridge, kettle, microwave. Wardrobe, spare blanket and pillows. Good sized room, comfortable bed. Hot shower, good water pressure. Each room has seats outside for personal use. Reception happily let me borrow cutlery and crockery to use during my stay when I asked, no hesitation. Easy 10 min walk from train station. Easy walking distance to supermarkets, shops and eateries. I met three different members of staff all were friendly, polite and very helpful. Happily stored my luggage for me on my last day. Would stay again.
Lovely staff - unfortunately residents in the next rooms were outside drinking and talking until well after 10pm and then got up very early still talking loudly and banging their truck doors. Otherwise a good place to sleep for an overnight when travelling.
The owners were very helpful and courteous.
The location is close to an assortment of dining and shopping establishments.
Fuel station 200metres away.
On-site parking is tight for large 4x4 vehicles.

Any oldie but a goodie
This is an older style motel with basic facilities. It was clean and had a microwave though no plates or dishes for use in it. There was also no hairdryer. The room was small but clean and the airconditioner worked well.

Parking is a problem for anything bigger than a small car.
I think it's a motel for transitioning the homeless, way overpriced and it was my first time in Australia and the owner felt he needed to tell me how much he dislikes Americans..but he had no problem taking my USD. His wife was extremely nice...I wouldn't stay again or refer.
only one pillow each and no blanket, no coat hangers, plastic spoons, needs a refurbish

The property was extremely old, looked like there had been little or no renovations for quite some time. We have a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle that wouldn’t fit under the building. We were very worried about leaving our vehicle in the car park as many of the rooms occupants appeared to be permanents. There were people loitering outside rooms & vehicles full of belonging with their doors open & no owner in sight. What you saw on the Website was definitely not what you got.
Overpriced for standard of accommodation. Bathroom exhaust fans dont work. No cutlery or plates. 2 cups 2 teaspoons only. Holes in carpet. Bathroom door bottom damaged. First unit window locks broken. I wss moved. Ipon request but Staff argumentative and defensive. Advertised breakfast but no information in the room about this. $154 for one night expensive. Its an $80 room at most.
Had the family cat come visit -very friendly
A little old but very clean .
Shower needed the drip fixing
Bed comfortable
very suitable for two nights - really just slept there and breakfast .
Little expensive for the age of the building .
Difficult entrance from the main street .Insufficient signage
