"Lovely clean rooms, really comfortable beds and linens. Deep soaker tub in the bathroom! Lovely coffee room with tea, coffee etc. and real cream in the fridge! And the price was right! Will definitely stay again if coming through Port Perry."

"Very comfortable bed, clean room and friendly staff. Older hotel but decent at an affordable price. We stayed on the second floor which is up a flight of stairs. Not an issue for us but request a ground floor room if stairs would be a problem. Attached restaurant was convenient for our evening meal. Basic breakfast was included."

"This is such a cute spot, overlooking a lighthouse on Lake Simcoe. Breakfast had a good selection of items. Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed"

"The property is currently under renovation, but I'm sure once it's done it will be a very nice place to stay. There is only one person on staff at the front desk, so after hours you have to ring a bell to get service. The outside needs some work but the room I stayed in was quite nice. It's outside of town, less than 10 minutes from Lindsay, which makes it quiet. There is a nice restaurant and a couple of gas stations within walking distance. "The property location is ideal, however the hotel itself is very tired and is in need of a major renovation. It is sad to see a once very exclusive Resort & Spa fall to where it is today. I hope someone makes an effort to restore it to its former glory."
