"Getting the staff to clean the room was a hassle after the first week.. They would say there going to clean it but no one every came around too.. I informed them several times that I wake up & leave prior to 9am.. so the 9am calls asking if I needed anything were pointless.. Went to the office 3x within 1 week.. spoke 3 different people & still the room wasn’t clean.. Also they have you sign tacky agreement that seems tedious at first but once been staying there for several days. You realize a lot of characters also stay there.. Which at times can seem unsafe"

"Got there early and place looked empty said they hadn’t gotten to our room only one maid. Ok no problem came back around 2 pm still an empty parking lot but still room not ready. We sat and waited in the lobby for 40 min before room ready. We were put at the very back, cigarette butts all over not one but 50+. Got yo our room and the keys didn’t work so had to go back to get new keys. Room was clean but cigarette butts outside the door thank goodness no smell inside room. AC even though set for 73 never reached that temperature, had to keep fan on constant to keep air moving at night. Breakfast was good waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs and potatoes, yogurts, bagels, cereal and juices. Bed was comfortable. Would I stay here again only if I knew they did a better job cleaning around the property. Room was never serviced between night stay which is a first."

"Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel and the handling of issues during my stay fell far below the standards I would expect from a Marriott branded property. Upon my check in around 8:30pm on Friday, the 15th of May, I was advised that our room was still not ready due to housekeeping issues. The two employees at the front desk apologized for the inconvenience and stated that the housekeeper was being fired and told me to wait for 10 min and they would personally go clean it. 40 minutes later they finally returned with a line of others trying to check in.Although I applaud their efforts, there is a reason that they’re in the service and not housekeeping. They just reused the same sheets and blankets. The floor was dirty and still had a dead cockroach laying on the carpet. I asked to be put into a different room, but this was the last double bed room available that I pre purchased, so I had no choice, but deal with it. My family and I ended up buying some pillows and blankets from Walmart to use. The bathroom still had what looked to be, vomit on the shower curtain and the toilet wouldn’t flush. I was able to grab a plunger and unclog it, but this was probably one of the worst experiences I can honestly say I’ve had. Beyond this incident, I was disappointed with the general cleanliness and upkeep of the entire hotel facility. This experience as a whole left me frustrated, exhausted, and questioning the level of care being given to guest safety, maintenance & comfort"
