"It is an older motel that needs to be updated, but everything was super neat and clean. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Our room was very clean and the bed was pretty comfy, and our water was hot for showers."

"We continue to be happy with our choice of The Riverbend Hotel And Cabins. When we visit Hellen GA again, this hotel will be our choice. The hotel is situated right on the river and the river was a very relaxing place to sit and swing on the double swings or have a picnic. The Hotel location was walking distance to almost everywhere we wanted to visit in town was excellent. About the room: Clearly we can only comment on room 112. The furnishing were good... definitely not fancy, but the bed, tv, internet, heating and cooling system, and room size were very good. The downside was the bathroom. The fixtures were mostly fine (sink, toilet, showerhead). The shower itself needed repairs (especially the poor grouting), the paint job in the bathroom was obviously not complete, and the single switch for the bathroom lights and fan were challenging as the fan was very loud. But, like I said, we could only comment on room 112. In conclusion, with understanding of the room inconveniences, the positive offsets are all reasons that we would definitely book this hotel in the future."

"The gym was closed. The pool was not available. The property was clean. The staff was helpful. Definitely don’t feel like I got what I paid for but the bed was comfortable and we had a lot of fun at Oktoberfest."
