Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes...

"Because of a large party, there initially was no parking. Staff initially made no effort to help. Again, because of large party, we were given very little attention when trying to check in. As for the bathroom, the shower drain was very slow. Wife took off cover and found drain covered with hair, thus the slow draing. Just gross. Overall, like most times, you get would you pay for. "

"The owner was lovely, as were rest of the staff. We had a warm welcome and a tour of our room prior to check-in. The Superior room was incredible. Really nicely furnished, clean, plenty of complimentary amenities. We had an amazing meal in the evening - one of the nicest we've had in Slovenia, followed by an equally enjoyable breakfast. The stay was not cheap but certainly worth the price, especially as the B&B is such a short walk from Lake Bled. Parking right in front of the accomodation is...

"We had a wonderful stay at PR`FIK Apartments. Everything was perfect! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The access to the apartment was very easy and convenient. The view was beautiful, the location was excellent for exploring the area, and the service provided by Gregor and Viktor was outstanding. They were helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property and would happily stay here again!"

Entgegen der Beschreibung ist aber das Restaurant schon seit Jahren geschlossen, Frühstück gibt es auch keins. Das war leider weder auf Expedia noch auf der Webseite zu erkennen. Dennoch netter kurzer Aufenthalt, in Laufnähe ist ein anderer Gasthof wo man Essen konnte."

"We had a wonderful stay at Riki Balance Hotel and felt it offered great value, especially for a lake view room. The hotel is one of the highest in the area, which means the lake views are completely unobstructed. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere made it even more enjoyable. "Nice location near Villach and the Faaker-See as well as near ski resorts. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pets welcome. If only the mattrass would have been better this would have been a solid 4 star review. That said, overall experience really solid."

"An oasis of tranquility and authentic Alpine architecture in a very busy touristy town. Super great owners and staff, spotless clean, short easy walk to town and the lake, quiet and peaceful. If you like the typical modern, minimalist, ugly hotel, don't book here, it's the opposite! Homey, comfortable, relaxed. Great base to explore the natural beauty. Don't miss the short side trip to Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj for postcard views and maybe less crowds than Bled."
