"We had a wonderful stay at Stoke Lodge hotel - our room was perfect and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and they went above and beyond, even leaving a card and towel sculpture in the shape of a wedding cake in our room to congratulate us on our wedding anniversary! We enjoyed spending time in the bar which was beautifully decorated and had a great atmosphere and loved using the pool facilities, especially the outdoor pool!...
"Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends."

The staff are amazing, the bedroom and bathroom beautiful, the breakfast's really set you up for the day, and the locals who visit the pub in the late afternoon share stories and tips on walks to take, and places to eat. "Lovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again."

"Overall, a love experience. The property was decievingly spacious, clean and filled with great entrainment facilities. An added benefit of a washer/dryer that makes that going back home experience better. Car parking permit included also. A great way to celebrate a significant ceremony in a stunning part of the country. Would highly recommend and stay again when in the area. "
"The few days were spent in a very comfortable apartment that had all the necessary fixtures and fittings to support our stay. However, the only concern was that the quilt on the beds were not summer quilts and as such sleeping was a problem, so much so that one of us slept in a single bed in the other bedroom. Perhaps this change during the summer months could be considered."
"Lovely little house,location fantastic. Everything you needed was supplied, books games even dishwasher tablets and cleaning equipment. Just needs a little TLC. Small negative, we didnt realise the property was over four floors until we got our final confirmation. This caused a slight problem as we had my eighty year old mother with us.
All in all a great little getaway and would definitely book the house again."
"We had a good short stay, however no good for someone who has mobility and transfer issues facilities as stairs are steep and no hand rails to upper floors - not appropriate for older adults. No hairdryer in room. Balcony terrace wonderful if out wet. Instructions for rubbish disposal was confusing however there was an option to leave inside door due to seagulls. We perhaps wouldn't stay again. "
