"The room was clean and nice enough, but the view of the lake was obstructed by an adjacent building. The gardens were not very impressive and the pool and hot tub were not good. The exercise equipment and "arcade" were basically a few pieces in an outdoor storage area. The staff and owners were very nice and helpful. You can take a ferry from Stresa to Islo Bella, which is very nice, but parking is difficult and it is very crowded. "

"The service was spectacular. Barbara attended to us personally. Breakfast included freshly brewed coffee with different types of bread with jam, butter, and hazelnut spread, as well as a plate of granola with yogurt—a wonderful way to start the day. One evening we had dinner there; the house wine was spectacular, and the lasagna was delicious. Thank you for all Barbara. Greetings from Mexico."
