"Avoid Room 22 floor, doors, bed squeaked. Door for the corridor was right next to our room every time someone opened it , it banged shut and the whole room shook. The boiler must also be close to the room or a main pipe noise from it all night ! Staff were all very nice and helpful. We had pre-booked a table for dinner stating not in the middle of the room or in between two others disappointed when it was bang smack right in the middle and no other tables we could have . Wouldn’t stay again. "

"Stayed in a superior pod, very contemporary, comfortable, clean, and well insulated from the weather with lovely views of the loch and mountains. Not much in the immediate area food wise (would need to drive to Balloch for any alternative dining options) but the food at Oaktree was lovely, tasty and filling. Good choice of whisky too."

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and at £85 for the room, it is frankly unbelievable how poor the overall standard was. From the moment I arrived, the tone was set by an incredibly rigid and unfriendly approach. I asked about check-out time and was told it is strictly 11:00 AM, and even being 5 minutes late would result in a £20 charge.
