"Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations.
On arrival, the staff came across as somewhat unwelcoming. At check-in, I wasn’t shown to my room and was simply pointed in the general direction. "Property was convenient for Stratford.
Bed very comfortable. A great selection of quality toiletries.
Owners were welcoming and advised us of recommended places to eat prior to our visit. As we were staying on a Saturday evening we were able to book a table in advance at what was a very popular venue.
Would definitely stay when in the area in the future."

"For a simple stay over this is an excellent pub with rooms, nothing fancy but very welcoming. all rooms basic but en suite and have all that is required for a simple stay.
In the bar/restaurant the food is good and the beer is as well. Wi Fi available throughout but can be a little patchy in the bedrooms. Breakfast is cooked to order with good fresh ingredients and is first rate.
I stay here frequently and will continue to do so."

"I liked everything, from the delicious breakfasts, to the quaintness and lovely private patio in the back. It is right in the middle of everything going on in Stow; yet you can have a relaxed glass of wine in the back and get away from it all. And the staff are friendly and genuinely interested in you enjoying your stay!"
