La famille des Rohan était une des puissante famille de France pendant la renaissance/ancien empire et ayant eu des cardinaux, princes-évèques, maréchaux, etc. Ils ont disséminé palais et châteaux dans toute la France comme ici à Strasbourg, dans ce palais mi-XVIIIe de style classique. On peut y voir ici des bustes d'empereur romain et un bel ensemble de boiseries blanches et dorées.
Édifie pendant le début du XVIIIe siècle, ce château de style Régence appartenait à la puissante famille des Rohan, suite à la révolution, la ville de Strasbourg l'acquis et il fut utilisé comme maison commune, lieu de détention, hôtel de ville (Napoléon y passa) et enfin sert à de multiples musées (archéologiques, arts décoratifs et des beaux-arts).

The room was nice but dated with stained carpet. I could hear the person Nextdoor through the wall go to the bathroom. The safe did not work. There is only one working elevator. I was not impressed for the cost of the rooms.
