Large bedrooms, friendly & helpful staff and, if travelling with pets, absolutely perfect. Have stayed overnight many times when catching the ferry .... wouldn't stay anywhere else AND the chef does a mean cooked breakfast!

The room was a good size and we were lucky to be facing the loch. Looked to be have been updated recently. All the staff were excellent, especially in the restaurant. I would suggest you have a look at the water pressure for the showers though. I'd look to stay again if I was heading to Stranraer

The friendliness of the staff was the highlight of our trip, alongside a fantastic fry up with good quality ingredients. Lovely hotel in a prefect location

We had a lovely 3 night stay whilst attending the nearby Oyster Festival. The hotel is perfectly located close to the town. The staff were just fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. As for the hotel itself, it is a little dated, but some refurbishment work was underway during our stay. It was very clean too. As for the breakfast, it was just wonderful. All freshly cooked and served piping hot.
