"Staff is friendly and helpful. The property is extremely run down and the rooms are covered in mold, stains and exposed nails. I had to sign a waiver saying I wouldn’t smoke in the room and if I did it was a $250 charge. When we walked into our first room wreaked of smoke, there were holes all over both comforters where someone had been smoking in the room and ashing their cigarettes. There was no fridge, the pillows had dark yellow stains on them, the door frame had large exposed nails sticking...

"1st - no dishes, silverware or cookware is included with your kitchenette. The property does have some they'll sell you. Housekeeping is only every 4th day, including trash removal. That being said, the room layout was excellent, none of that wasted space that drives you crazy when you can't turn around in the bathroom. "I loved our two rooms with bathroom in between for less than $150, and the sweet and simple old fashioned building. The back entryway is really lovely. The thrift shop nearby was also nice. And the train across the street we hope to ride one day."

"It’s a typical inn—nothing more, nothing less. To be honest, I haven’t stayed at an inn in quite a while, so maybe this is standard now. There is no daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it. Even after we did, I’m 100% sure the bed sheets were never changed.
