I stayed in premium room. Spacious, clean, modern, with a well stocked mini bar. Great breakfast options and lots of parking. Got chatting with a few members of staff who were very nice and helpful. Overall, great stay.
First trip to Stornoway to experience island life.
Great location. Beautiful Lews castle grounds & museum. We were able to go for early morning walks before breakfast.

Hotel is well situated for the town of Stornoway - in house food served to a good standard, good parking etc my only personal criticism- the bed in room 101- mattress issues. other than that it was enjoyable visit.
This is a lovely hotel. It is said to be the best on the island. Food is great. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. Service is first rate. The manager, Marcus, is charming and informative. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had dinner in the restaurant. It was delicious.
The staff was friendly and supportive.
Rooms were good bed were comfy.
All clean.
Food is expensive and not a very big range.
We also ordered 2 portions of spiced onion rings. It worked out £1per onion ring and they were to spicy for any of us to even eat so they were left nearly untouched..
Redecorated since last visit and it really is beautiful The huge beds and the new decor really impressed. And the staff are very very helpful. As usual, food is amazing.
Room and shower room were clean and modern. The public areas are quite stunning and well maintained. Would never stay anywhere else on Lewis!
Loved this hotel! Fancier than I thought for the price but not dissapointed at all! Spacious room, delicious food, excelent customer service, clean (super clean)!!
Great stay for music festival, situated 15 minute walk from festival site and from town centre. Great facilities with excellent breakfast and because I had a 5a.m. ferry check in on last morning I could check out & pay the afternoon before and a packed breakfast was ready for me in the early morning. Top marls all round.
We really enjoyed staying at the Cabarfeidh hotel where we stayed for 3 nights. The staff is very polite and helpful, our room was spacious and modern, 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner were great and always presented w a smile. The location is excellent- the royal gardens are just across the street and the co- op is about a 5 min walk. It is an easy walk to downtown. We would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it highly.

Stornoway
On checking in I was advise that we had a twin room, I asked if this could be made into a double & was told that they had made the room up as requested, I advise that I had not requested a twin, too tied to stand my ground I accepted the room, asked about Dinner in the hotel restaurant & was advised that we could only get in after 8.45, so gave that up too, we decided to walk into town & go elsewhere.
When getting to our room it had been made up as a double!!. The room was extremely tired looking & needed to be decorated. The bed was comfortable & clean. The shower was not much more than a dribble. We had booked & paid for breakfast but as we were on the first ferry we were unable to have breakfast as breakfast started over an hour later then us leaving. To sum up, if/when I return to Stornoway I will not return to this hotel.
