"My stay at Ibis Portsmouth was really great although the lift had broken down. This was compensated by the friendly reception staff especially Sike, an African American lady really impressed me on arrival and during my entire stay - not hesitating to ask if everything was fine or suggest what else I could do. "One of the best holiday Inns I have stayed at. The free breakfast was a real plus as was the free parking for 24hrs followed by parking for £2 a day. For Portsmouth you can’t beat this hotel. Would highly recommend! "

"Excellent location, amazing staff esp the chatty ladies at reception who helped with bags and even upgraded us! Very short walk from the outlet place and port, also around 15m from town and bit more to the pier n beach. Limited parking is the only thing but we got on right outside luckily! Will come again! "

"The location is great. The insulation is very poor, i could hear the neighbours room the noise from the TV. The mattress is terrible, needs replacing as it was a little lumpy and bump so I couldn't get a good night's sleep for 3 days. The room was ok, the bathroom was very small just enough room for a shower and a toilet. It is walkable distance to the main historical area, the defence walls, the beautifu houses and the pubs on Spice Island so that was a bonus."

"Cute, boutique hotel. Very clean. Restaurant onsite was convenient and food was delicious. Location was tucked back from the main road and walkable to multiple museums, restaurants and other local areas of interest. "

"Bit noisy outside during the night but we didn’t realise the window was ajar, which probably didn’t help! Room was lovely. Great views. Bed very comfortable "

"If you are interested in the Victory or the Mary Rose it is right across the street. Super great. Parking down the street was easy but prefer not to have to do it. But if you have to remote park, it wasn't a big deal. It was pretty easy."
