Room was clean and the bed comfortable. But there wasn’t a bedside table or a place to put toiletries in the bathroom. Also, I couldn’t figure out how the heat/air conditioning worked.

Actual review - Solid choice!

The area is perfect, Stockholm is actually gorgeous! Literally dozens if not hundreds of shops, restaraunts and cafes within a 10-20 minute walk, and the city is very walkable as you might expect. There are also a bunch of museums and historical locations, as well as all the major goverment buildings, like the Riksdag, in the area. Hotel was very nice, located across from a park and the national library. Lundry has to be dropped off by 0900 for same day service. There is also a small gym in the basement. 9/10 would definitely stay again!

Perfectly nice hotel in a nice part of town. Room was a little small, but perfectly comfortable. Bed was super comfy, shower was lovely and powerful. Shame there was no kettle or coffee maker, but you could go to Reception.

Excellent stay and location

The location was very central. It was 20 minutes walking distance from Central Station. I was able to get where I wanted to go within 15 minutes. Room was clean. Staff was lovely and offered luggage storage in a locked room. It was seamless check-in and check-out. I did not participate but in the evenings, the lobby / bar area was buzzing although not packed quiet. Highly recommend!

Easy 20-minute walk from Central Station. English-speaking staff. Beautiful park and library just across street. Really good breakfast buffet, get there early before the crowd. Saturday night rockin DJ till 1am, bartenders & security guards great. "Quiet Lounge" in basement with two chaise lounges and large work table in lobby gave extra room to work. Will definitely stay again.

Or there is a hop on and off that stops outside Hotel show signs of needing some tlc for both decor and furnishings. We had a few issues in the room most of which were sorted quickly. An excellent location, close to transport, shopping and dining options. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. An easy walk to the harbour and Gamla Stan (old town). The room was a good size and clean, however, there was no fridge and no tea and coffee making facilities. These had to be purchased in the reception area.

The hotel is very nice. The decor looks great, the staff is very friendly, and their breakfast is extensive and very good. I have no complaints with the hotel itself, but I took a star off because it is directly across from a club. We had to sleep with earplugs every night because of the noise from the club, especially all the people milling outside and speaking loudly into the early hours of the morning. It didn't quiet down until 5am so it was hard to get decent sleep. Our room was facing the club so I don't know if it's quieter on a side that is not facing the street.

Impressed by Brian’s efforts on reception

Brian at the reception desk was very professional and efficient at his job. I had an issue with the room on the first checked in. He went above and beyond to make everything work out well. I felt well pleased with how he handled the situation and the breakfast was always delicious Cleaning was top grade as well

The hotel itself is perfectly situated within a lot of things to do right on the doorstep. The interior in the bar and restaurant area are nice but the room we had felt very dated. Dark and with little light. Nice big windows overlooking a street which was letting in lots of light during the day but as soon as the sun set I found it difficult to get the room lit. Another thing is that they're asking if you'd like to have the room cleaned which I said yes to, but that didn't happen which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was not on par with the best of the Scandic hotels but okay.

Poor housecleaning

The housekeeping was below minimum. We had ask for cleaning everyday. However everyday we had to ask the reception for clean towels and minimum of cleaning for the bathroom. This was after the deadline at 16:00. The toilet smelled of urin and the sewer smelled even worse. Finally on the last morning we ran out of shower soap and toilet paper. Not once did we get the floors cleaned or the beds made. The breakfast buffet was very nice and delicious.

Great place to stay in a cool quarter

Perfect location (walking distance to a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops, public transport), very clean and spacious room, super friendly and helpful staff! Our room was a bit outdated, but that wasn't a problem at all.
