It was my first time staying at a motel. I did it to save money had just left Home 2 hotel in Florida. I guess I might have expected the same quality. The guy that checked me in wasn't pleasant. The rest of the staff was. The mat in front of each door was filthy.

Super Dirty Hotel would be a better name. Blanket on bed had several cigarette burns, bathroom wall had boogers smeared on it, room smelled like cigarette smoke, popcorn ceiling falling off, and walls / chairs had dried fluid on them. Hotel would not refund my money. Door to bathroom was busted up and couldn't shut properly. GROSS!

To be honest, I don't normally book properties like this but we had no choice this time as we couldn't find a property that isn't fully booked yet near my daughter's honors program interview venue happening the next day. So I reserved a non-smoking room but the one given to us smells terribly of a smoking room esp. when the airconditioning unit is on, the smell even gets worse that it triggered my allergies so we left but not w/o migraine attack & sinusitis. The room was dirty; the table top & sink counter top were so sticky to the feel and the worst of all was the staff was so damned rude. I left my cervical, medical grade pillow there and the manager on duty told me that whatever was left in the room, they throw them away immediately as they clean them (as if!). I was like, we've just left no more than an hour agoz how can they not keep my belonging for even half a day to see if I will come back to claim them? I hate everything about this property and will never go there ever again! Totally NOT recommending!

I made a reservation for non-smoking room, and the staff emphasized that my room was a non-smoking room. It’s actually not! The room has a horrible smell mixed with smoke. The shower room and toilet is very much about time to upgrade. Very old and dirty. The blanket and pillows are super old and yucky… The only good thing is having clean laminate floor and granite countertops. My son and I chose to sleep in the car instead. Horrible experience.

Disgracing Wyndham!!! SMH
This place need’s not to be operating especially underneath the Wyndham name!! It was so nasty like the room was dusty and dirty and the exterior had trash blown everywhere then they didn’t even serve breakfast as advertised and when I asked what was going on with it they said that it was because they were remodeling well apparently they’ve been remodeling since the summer but nobody was in there working on it he doesn’t even look like it had been touched on a remodeling aspect so when I ask if I could get some creamers for the coffee pot in my room that did not work they didn’t have a new coffee pot to give me they didn’t have creamer to give me half of the outlets didn’t work in the room the shower leaked everywhere the tub or the Jets on the so-called Jacuzzi tub were so disgusting they had mildew and soap scum all in them I mean it was just a total freaking scum disgusting place this place really needs to be taken down especially representing the Wyndham name now there were some workers who work there at the front desk who are very very pleasant to deal withI mean they didn’t even give coffee for anybody in the morning for breakfast on the go as advertised it’s just despicable I think that someone from Wyndham needs to come down and check out the place the entire place not just the rooms that they put on for show on the pictures if I was you I wouldn’t waste my money on this place or my time

OMG where do I start ? We rented this room solely for the fact that the online pictures showed what appeared to be a recliner in the senior handicap room. I have back problems and cannot sleep on a flat bed. There was only a hard wood chair in the room!!! The gentleman housekeeper looked at the other rooms for a "comfortable" chair. We had to be at a function soon so we accepted the room. When we got back from function we started to notice other "stuff" The walls were not painted all the way to baseboard; looked like they had removed baseboards and replaced with narrower ones. The wall paint was chipped off ,mirror was dirty, the furniture tops were sticky , the frig. was totally rusted out and painted over, the large painting above bed had been drawn on, and there were other items. Too many to list here!! Almost forgot the drug deals all night in the room next door!! This hotel needs to be torn down and if rebuilt needs a new management team. At least one that speaks English. Will Never stay or recommend to anyone.

you get what you pay for i guess.
I have NEVER been so digusted in my life to the point where i checked in and checked right back out ! Front desk employees were disrespectful, the rooms were very dirty, the traffic was so loud from the cars and the people "living" there walking back and forth. There was a big gap between the door to hear and see everything. Just pay a little extra and go somewhere cleaner and safer !

There was no remote for the TV. After being given 3 different remotes to try, none of which worked, they sent an employee to try. He could not get any to work either so told me I would get a discount at checkout. At checkout I was told there was no discount. When I went back to where my car was parked near the room to leave, a manager was there questioning the cleaning crew about the remote. The cleaners started yelling at me that there was a remote in the room. I asked them to show me the remote and demonstrate it for me, they refused. They just kept yelling that there was a remote there yesterday. I tried to explain that an employee had tried several remotes, but could not get them to work, but they just kept yelling at me.

Staff was friendly but door did not have a lock and originally reserved a smoke free room but had to give me a smoking room. It stunk completly of smoke, even the sheets and pillows smelled of smoke. Very few outlet to charge devices. Had to unplug TV, microwave, and fridge to charge devices.

It wasn’t a bad experience or anything, just an older place that could use a decent amount of renovations. It serves its purpose and was very close to what we needed.

Beware - Hotel is Disgusting!!!
We didn’t have high expectations for this hotel, but it was, by far, the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The room was filthy, to the point where we bought Lysol wipes and spray. I killed spiders in the corners, we wiped walls and every surface we would have to touch. We also bought our own blankets and pillows to sleep on. It was clearly a smoking room with ashtray provided — what hotels have smoking rooms? We didn’t think to ask at check-in and the front desk attendant just said they were sold out. The bed springs were shot with a noticeable dip in the middle of the mattress. Light fixtures were literally rusty and the furniture was visibly dirty in the most questionable way. If the entire city and surrounding areas weren’t sold out for this weekend, we would’ve run from this place. It was utterly disgusting. This is the first time we’ve ever given a written review - trying to help prepare someone if they plan to stay here.

Good exterior, bad interior and service
Dirty, poorly maintained, cobbled fixtures/furniture/lighting. Satellite kept blinking out. A non-smoking room with cigarette burns in both blankets, hair in tub, sticky carpet. No pool access. Called to verify it was pet friendly and the guy was yelling at me. Only thing it has going for it is location.

Sold my room out from under me after I was told I can pay at hotel. Had a confirmation with the hotel, and they had my credit card info to run regardless if I showed or not. Horrible service. Useless help at the front desk. Drove 3 hours and had to turn back around because of this.

Horrible
This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. Its embarrassing that the city of Statesboro and the university allow this hotel to operate in the condition its in right across the street from campus and downtown Statesboro. Spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere much nicer and safer just avoid this hotel at all costs.

Reserve another hotel!
This was a last-minute 2 nights reservation that I made and I found that this the worst hotel were you would spend a night. The non-smoking rooms has a strong smoke odor (I requested a change to another room and it shown issue), the rooms are dirty, low maintenance, a dead cockroach was at the night stand, dead flies next to the window, the comfort has multiple holes, the pillows covers were wrinkled like and messy like someone was there before, walls were dirty, there was dust everywhere, etc. I’m not consider myself a picky person, but it was too much.It was a prepaid reservation, however I decided to left the hotel and not be there for more than 5 min. I recommend that you avoid this hotel and find another one. I never saw before the lack of housekeeping that I saw in this hotel.

Need to update there website. Pool was not open, the lounge was not open, did not want to give out clean towels and rags everyday. Was supposed to have a breakfast did not happen the whole stay. The pillows in the room were flat and old. Would not advise no one to stay here.

No breakfast, the pool was and has been closed and the wifi didnt work. The blankets on the bed had cigarette burns and there was blood splattered on the door. One of the worst motels ive ever stayed at.

I booked this room for 3 reasons: pool, hot breakfast, cost. As we entered the parking we could see the pool was closed. At check in, we could see the lobby was closed, meaning no breakfast. I can say that since I booked the room while riding in the car, I inadvertantly booked a smoking room and that was rememdied quickly. However, this room smelled horribly of cleaners with strong perfumes which for me is as bad as smoke. Even then, the room was gross. When I attempted to get a refund, the property refused stating I "was to blame for choosing the wrong room type." But my issues were with the lack of a pool and breakfast. Buy the trip insurance, in case! We absolutely could not stay in this hotel due to strong smells and left losing our money.
