"All good except no hot water in bedroom (feeble trickle that reached lukewarm after 10 mins) and shower a cold jet not a spray! Location, staff - reception, waiters at dinner and breakfast, - cleanliness, etc excellent, spacious room, lifts worked well, breakfast reasonable variety. But not sure would risk staying again unless they fix the showers or I felt happy to stink."

"Very clean and comfortable hotel. Only a few steps away from the airport terminal. We arrived at 1am, check in was friendly and efficient. The 24 hr room service was appreciated, a delicious pizza and a glass of wine swiftly delivered to the room. Buffet breakfast was really good value with a great selection of foods to choose from."

"The property is very dated and unclean. We had hair in our beds and the heater was broken and on all night. The breakfast was very average and alao had hair in it. The transport from the hotel was efficient but very expensive for auch a short trip.

"A bit surreal, the place was devoid of staff, night or day! The room was clean but tiny and very sparse of comfort, which is OK for one night but does not match the price.
Also the name Airport Lodge is deceptive, it is 10' ride by taxi and that was 16 pounds. The following day i tried the local bus but it came 45´ late. At least, it was only 2 pounds. "

"I stayed here one night before an early flight from stanstead. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 min drive to the airport. The chap at front desk was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both clean as was the shower. The room had tea making facilities and a hair dryer. The bed was not so good very bumpy, you could feel the springs, and parking is not free as stated I was charged £6. 50. Overall ok for a one night stay. "

"I arrived very late...flight from Bergerac was delayed over 2 hours. Reception was understanding and my bag was carried up to the first floor. Room was very comfortable and quiet. I left early and again had help with my bag. Difficult to locate in the nighttime, but a good overnight stay."

"Room was clean and fine but it smelt very strong of bleach which affected my sleep. Also the descriptions on Expedia are misleading as the comfort room does not contact 2 x double beds which caused a problem.
