We stayed in Room 6 which is at the top of the hotel. The room was good. There was a double bed, dressing table and side table. En suite bathroom with bath and shower. The room was quite, there's very little traffic in the area.
They do provide breakfast which is left in the room in a fridge for you. Consists of bread for toasting, yogurt, cereal, juice and tea/coffee. This is a "do it yourself" meal but suited us. There is a fridge, kettle and toaster in a larder style cupboard in the room.
The hotel is made up of 4 houses that have been made into one place. Therefore, the stairs go up in every direction and are narrow. The hotel could probably do with some redecorating but is clean and comfortable and a little bit quirky! If you arrive outside of the restaurant opening hours you need to phone (number is on the entrance) and they come and let you in.
The owner is great. He chatted when we arrived and gave us a guide book on the town. He runs the restaurant and bar for the hotel. We didn't eat there but it was busy on the Saturday night.
