"I loved the size of the room and both beds were comfortable. The hot water did not get very hot and the toilet kept running. This hotel is about to undergo renovation so maybe all will be better upon another visit. I liked that the room had a balcony but I did not like that I couldn’t use it. The view was great. The continental breakfast was meh. All tea was decaffeinated except for the green tea. A mixed review but overall still liked it for a 1 night stay. Staff did not go out of their way to welcome us or check that they could do anything to make our stay more pleasant."

"My favorite place to stay, Very clean with courteous staff and the breakfast feels like I am eating at a close friend’s house. My favorite spot is the pool! I can’t wait to go back!"

"It was a nice place but there was no pool, no breakfast and the rooftop restaurant was only open from 5-9 thurs- sat We also had showers that got water all over floor when you used them. Loved the balcony. Palm trees blocked ocean view. Needs some tweaking and it would be great."
Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse

"This was a great place to stay to access everything on St. Simon Island. It is so conveniently located to the lighthouse, the pier, the pier village shops and restaurants. The room was well decorated as was the Inn and everything was as pictured and very clean. The breakfast offered had cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, egg bites or oatmeal that could be warmed in the microwave, several breads selections. We did not use the pool, but it also was very clean. The only negative we have is that the parking under the facility was very tight in some spots due to the support columns, but they did have parking in the rear of the building or across the street as well. We will definitely return to stay here in the future."

"The hotel had a musty smell when you first walked into the lobby, but overall it wasn’t entirely bad. However, once you got into the rooms, the rooms had amazing smell and they were very clean. Perhaps they may need to change their carpeting in the lobby and in the hallway because there are no carpets in the rooms so that’s why there’s no smells in there but overall the hotel was great and the staff was very helpful."

Hodnett Cooper's Beach Club

"We were surprised by the gorgeous view in condo 412 and the television services available which do not match the Hodnett Cooper website images for The Beach Club. There were 3 nice TVs in every room with Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix, etc. The Hodnett Cooper website listed only a DVD player available so we took a bunch of old DVDs to watch but there was not DVD player. The only other issues: 1. There was a broken towel hanging hook in the master bath; the hook was lying on the vanity. 2. The trashcan lid was broken in the kitchen. 3. The ceiling fan in the living room did not work though the light built into the ceiling fan would come on. 4. The air conditioner is very loud probably because the units are mounted on the roof of the building we we we were on the top 4th floor. 5. The condos are quite far from the beach but the walk through the sand dunes is beautiful and we enjoyed the walk. It's a major chore for families taking a lot of beach gear so we simply carried a couple of towels and a beach bag."
