"Overall, my experience was positive with a few minor drawbacks. My room was located in a separate building, just above the gym. There were no lifts, so this could be an issue for people with mobility issues. The room itself was on the smaller side but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were really comfy. However, one downside was the loud music coming from the gym. Even though my room was two floors above, the noise was noticeable and a bit disruptive at times...

"This is the 2nd time I've stayed here at The Raven and it certainly won't be the last. The staff are all fantastic, friendly, helpful, and even though they are all busy they are all really cheerful and take time to interact with you. Yes, admittedly the rooms look a little tired and dated, but they are clean, have everything you need and more importantly I sleep like a log here as the bedding is lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. "Overall a lovely stay with friendly staff and a good breakfast. A nice room and very clean. The only downfall was the shower water was really hot, even on the lowest setting. Having a shower wasn't very enjoyable, which was a shame as the bathroom was really lovely with a rainfall shower head, but I had to stay out of the stream and splash the water on me. But we did mention it to them on checkout so hopefully it can be easily resolved, because the hotel was really nice. Unfortunately parking...

"This is a wonderful quiet hotel in the country with great staff and impeccable service. The main rooms are in an old country house, but there are very comfortable large rooms in the Annex as well. Breakfast servies an abundance of fresh cooked foods to order, in addition to a large buffet. One on the reasons this hotel is so great is the dedicated staff who work as a small team and support one another. It is not a big corporate hotel, and that adds to its beauty.
