"When I am staying in Brisbane for business or non business reasons, Amora Hotel Brisbane is always my first choice and my recent 5-night stay was as always, an excellent choice, so well looked after by the staff, room clean and well equipped and the service and the food and drinks in the bar, restaurant or via room service are always of a high calibre"

"The room was perfectly fine, bed was comfy, staff great. Some things that could be improved to make it excellent: Lighting could have been better either in the room or bathroom, hard if you are doing make up for a special event as it was quite dark. A second chair would be useful if you want to eat in the room and dishwashing soap would be handy so you can wash and reuse dishes."

"On arrival everything was quick and staff polite and helpful. Our room had a great view of the river (1910) and Kangaroo Point Bridge. Breakfast was ample in proportion but on two of the three days of our stay the coffee machine wasn’t working. The staff tried to assist by making coffee elsewhere but it slowed the process considerably. The decor is aging but bathrooms have been refurbished so a nice touch. Rooms are a good size as was the bathroom. It was quite cold during our visit and the airconditioning only cooled, just wouldn’t heat the room so a little cool at night and early morning. Overall a great location and very acceptable."
