The service here was 10 out 10 always and made it feel like your were a luxurious hotel.

Clayton Hotel was super cute! The staff was friendly, free breakfast as well with lots of options to choose from. The parking was free (over the weekend) and the parking garage was clean. Definitely recommend staying here! only 5 mins from downtown St. Louis and walking distance to a VERY good restaurant called CJ Muggs. The room was clean when we arrived. The shower was pretty cool too once you figured out what buttons went to which shower head. Overall, we will be back to visit this hotel many more times!

They literally closed the pool 30 minutes after we checked in. We saw people swimming and then came down to hotel attendants telling us it was closed. That was the whole reason we went to the hotel. The rooms were dated and the furniture was stained. The breakfast on the other hand was excellent!! 10/10.

Hotel is inexpensive and conveniently located. Hotel has a poor layout, our room had an obnoxiously high bed, it smelled of marijuana throughout the hotel and the noise was excessive.

When we come to St Louis we always stay here. Came for a friends wedding reception several years ago, which was wonderful- and now it’s our spot. They also have a wonderful breakfast which is included. Location is great proximity to many things. Love it

Pool was down which sucked because that's the main reason we picked this hotel. Sofa bed was broken when we tried to get it set up for the night. We ended up getting a rollaway bed that we were told was a little smaller than a queen sized bed but ended up being about the size of a twin. Then they tried to charge us for the rollaway bed. Could see people smoking weed just outside of the door in the parking garage and smell it outside of the rooms. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good but the hotel overall was a 0 rating for us. Would not recommend unless you are desperate.

I was amazed this was in the center of town but didn't feel noisy. The staff and facilities were amazing! And the breakfast opportunity was unbelievable! So many tasty options in a friendly atmosphere. This was a wonderful stay and great way to start my trip!

Good location. Clean rooms. Quiet. Breakfast is awesome. Lots of varieties, delicious omelettes made to order. The shower was equipped with a modern widget to control hand-held or shower water temperature. It didn't quite work as desired. It started well but kept oscillating between 85-102 deg F which kind of gave a funny and not so pleasant experience with the water temp fluctuation. Maybe it was only in my room.

I REALLY liked the shower with multiple shower heads and able to control the water temp electrically with screen in the shower. However, the shower design was flawed because water would flow along the edge and out onto the floor. We immediately called to report it so that we didnt get charged for anything crazy. Breakfast was wonderful. Buffet with omelette and waffle station!

The hotel is very nice. It was clean , the rooms are large, and it was reasonably priced. The manager was very kind but the staff the night before yelled at my daughter bc she was promised a crib for her 10 month old and had to check out. The next morning I called to ask what time breakfast was and was told I should look at my instructions.

Our room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We were right next to the elevator which resulted in more noise than we would have liked. The breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of options. Also, all staff members provided excellent service, which we greatly appreciate.

We stayed with our furry son and it was amazing! So many different activities to do around the area and the hotel was in walking distance of a beautiful park that we took our son to daily. Although we were out most of the time I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Staff was amazingly helpful, kind, courteous and above all respectful! Nothing but 5 star service for us overall.
