"Everything was great… the cleanliness, the beds and sheets were super comfy. The staff was amazing friendly . The only thing is the coffee maker had a missing basket to brew coffee and the lotion/ shampoo bottles were empty in both rooms we rented from them, minor details."

We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,...
"My wife has limited mobility and can’t walk easily. Your staff person at checkin was so kind as to move her own car so we could park in a place closer to the entrance and to our room. The hilly parking lot could be challenging otherwise. This morning a staff member was parked in the only handicapped parking space, which made it difficult for us to go to breakfast."
"Very nice property in a great location in the center of a very welcoming little town. Room was small, but had all conveniences and then some. In-house restaurant was excellent.
Breakfast does not start until 8:30, not convenient for travelers getting an early start."
