Following its recent refurbishment on the whole it’s a lovely job. Would we stay again, yes we would. "We were apprehensive after reading previous reviews, however we were positively surprised. Our family room was large and spacious and the beds very comfortable. The deco is dated but everything was clean, the staff lovely and what a view!! If you want luxury, 5* accommodation, this isn't for you. If you want a comfortable, friendly hotel to stay in while having easy access to the town centre of St Ives, this is it."

"The room was spacious with very good facilities, such as dish washer, washing machine, cooking utensils. Staff were friendly and welcoming. However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene. In addition, plants inside living room or dining room were dying without proper attention."
