The private room was large and well appointed. It has a large deck with a great view. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also great. Best place we stayed on our recent trip to Australia.
Drop what you’re doing. Get on a plane or a ferry and get yourself to Bed in the Treetops. Can’t say enough about the incredible experience Mark and Paula have created. Our stay came towards the end of our Tasmanian holiday and the peace and tranquility was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. Close enough to everything yet removed enough from everything. Go now!
Literally hidden in the trees this was a lovely places to stay. Mark and Paula has truly thought of everything and all the little touches - from a welcome snack to an abundance of DVDs and games - made it such a lovely place to stay.
They really took the time to get to know their guests and gave some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the local area.
The breakfast, which was very fresh and tasty, benefited from some spectacular views. The room was extremely comfortable and clean - with everything you could need being a little way from the nearest town.
The only minor issue I had was the hill getting up to the place - it was extremely steep and I was worried my slightly older rental car wouldn’t make it, but it did - twice! Just follow the signs and you’ll be fine.
A unique and exceptional location with magnificent breathtaking views - a true hidden gem. Thanks to our warm and welcoming hosts Mark and Paula for a memorable visit that left us wanting for nothing, the homemade dessert and delicious breakfast.
We had a great stay here. Paula and Mark are so welcoming.
The view from our apartment was sensational as is the whole property.
My husband is gluten free and they had gone to the trouble of getting in special bread for him. Our breakfasts were simply delicious, we had the big breakfast and continental.
Paula and Mark were great at suggesting ‘things to do’ in the area and even made a restaurant booking for us. Highly recommend this property.
We were warmly welcomed by our hosts who made phones calls for us to sort out dinner. The room was beautifully appointed and the view spectacular. Our hosts supplied home made beetroot cake which was delicious. The breakfast was also generous and delicious. All round great experience and only sorry we had time to only stay one night.
This is a beautiful studio apartment in a stunning bush location with water views. The apartment was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well apppointed. There is also a lovely outside area to sit and relax. Breakfast is served in the main house by the wonderful hosts Mark and Paula. They are friendly and helpful, nothing is a problem. The breakfast was just delicious. Highly recommend and would love to return sometime.
You arrive at the house following about a 1km climb up the drive to treetop level. The views are spectacular and there are many opportunities to see a variety of birds and wildlife. The property is kept in exceptional condition and the hosts are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the region. All the ingredients are here to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Detta B&B bokar du för speciella tillfällen när du vill göra något utöver det vanliga och vill kosta på dig lite lyx.
Trevligt par som äger och driver stället på ett professionellt naturnära sätt.
It's a very good stay. We had a warm welcoming~The home made cake by Paula is great! The room has a good view forward the bay. The bed is comfy , bfast is good. It's worth to stay there.
We stayed for two nights and enjoyed it immensely. Mark and Paula were friendly and helpful but were not intrusive of our privacy, making for a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Close to the Bay of Fires and St Helens; Bed in The Treetops is perfectly located. The views are wonderful and the quiet adds to the experience.
We'll be back.
Binalong Bay is a must visit destination. Great beach, cafe/restaurant with Tree Tops about 4 minutes away. Mark will even take you to & from for dinner !
Beautiful, very well fitted and comfortable accommodation with magnificent views.
Owners Mark and Paula know exactly where to draw the line between extremely helpful and friendly service and maintenance of guests' privacy .
Breakfast was a delight and the home made cake on arrival a delicious surprise.
Far exceeded our expectations.
All aspects of the accommodation reflected the professional touches of an interior designer..all quality accessories
And the stunning views did not hurt either.

Had a lovely stay at Bed in the Treetops! Mark and Paula were delightful hosts. The view was amazing! Got treated to delicious chocolate cake on arrival and the breakfast was amazing!!
This is a faultless B&B, the best we have come upon in Tasmania. It is in a beautiful area close to the Bay of Fires, with glorious bush and coastal views.
Wonderful greeting by hostess Marianne, shown room with everything you could possibly need for one night. She could also recommend somewhere close for dinner and made the booking for us. Dinner was divine at Moresco with a Bay of Fires sunset to match. Breakfast upstairs with Bruce in the kitchen too and it was beautifully cooked and arranged. Great chatter amongst us all. Wildlife had breakkie on the balcony too. This couple are just the sort of people that should be running a top class, award winning B & B.
Beautiful setting with amazing views and parrots feeding on the patio railings. Breakfast was tasty and made to order. The host was friendly and informative about the area. Be prepared for a short but steep climb up the road to reach this lovely setting. Relax and enjoy it.
Clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly couple. Let us meet the chicken and explore their wonderful veggie patch. Great location. Best breakfast of our holidays :)
Extremely comfortable room with great extras such as freshly baked banana bread on arrival. Hosts Marianne and Bruce extremely knowledgeable about local area and great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast included the freshest, most yellow scrambled and poached eggs I have ever seen.
It is set back about 1km from the road up a gravel road with a steep hill at the end. But when you get there it is like entering another world. Beautiful surroundings, quiet except the birds, and a view to die for. Just two rooms, but huge, at this establishment so book early to avoid disappointment. The breakfasts vary every day and the owners know all the best things to do or eat in the area
We stayed overnight at this delightful B&B. The rooms large and airy with every comfort and more. The area is rugged and beautiful giving a sense of remoteness which is great for relaxation. Marianne and David are charming hosts. The breakfast memorable as is the view over the bay.
Hosts Bruce and Marianne were fabulous and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation was outstanding and immaculate and the views from our room were magnificent. The room was extremely cosy and comfortable and we felt very much at home and our hosts cooked us a great breakfast and we had freshly squeezed orange juice, which was delicious. The view from the table was stunning and we were entertained by the beautiful coloured birds pecking at apples out on the balcony, along with friendly conversation with our hosts, who asked to sit down with us at the end of our breakfast, for a chat, which we really enjoyed.
We were sad to leave this beautiful property and it was a very memorable part of our trip to Tasmania and would certainly recommend a stay there to anyone. Thanks again to Marianne and Bruce.
Enjoyed stay thoroughly. The room is comfortable and cozy. Owners, Bruce and Mariann, are very welcoming and friendly and keep up the fantastic property very well. The location is great for exploring Bay of Fires and Binalong Bay and short drive away from eating places.
