The landlady Jill made me feel very welcome and was kind enough to explain everything for my stay, including suitable dining options nearby. "Really lovely pub with rooms. Food was outstanding. Room really comfortable, bed cosy and bathroom well appointed. Rainforest shower head and very good water pressure. Lots of very hot water. Forgot to turn the radiator down meant we roasted overnight but that was our error. Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Pub itself very busy with a good atmosphere, but not noisy or rowdy as it’s a gastro pub. Would definitely recommend and return. "
