"The pool was broken when we stayed, which was a huge driver for us to stay there with two young kids. The food was really awful, borderline inedible, and there are not many other options nearby. Room was fine and views absolutely beautiful."

"It was just me and my boyfriend staying for two nights in room 101. The room and bathroom decor were very dated, which is cool in someways but not so much in other ways, like the ancient looking carpet. The room and bathroom were very clean but had a very strong fragrance that was irritating for me, but I tend to be more sensitive to fragrance than some. The employees in the general store were super helpful and friendly. We went to The Salmon House for dinner one night and it was good. The view from our room was great with the giant picture window. Parking was in back, right around the corner from our room. People tend to speed down the road right in front of the hotel, so be careful especially if you have little ones or dogs. At the time of this review the south shore road a few miles past the resort village was closed because of wash out. I would highly recommend going to see the Sitka spruce."
