First off, Adrian at the front desk is great. He is calm and helpful - especially when faced with room and keycard issues. We arrived early but told check in was 230pm. When we came back it took over an hour to check in, as issues with rooms & keys and only 1 staff at the desk. Rooms keys a big issue as many guests coming down as locked out room.
I was upgraded from a Queen bed room to 2 Double beds as the first room given had someone in it. The upgraded room had a Microwave and mini fridge (very old) Room was basic and clean. Fan in bathroom very loud and toilet did not flush.
Room did not have a do not distrub sign, no bathroom amentities like shampoo or hair dryer. TV channels limited and my tv remote had no batteries. Another trip to the front desk. I was given batteries but the remote did not work.
Since checkin was so chaotic - I was not provided the wifi or any information about the hotel.
Toilet did not flush - I tried to call the front desk by dialing 0 as there was not directions or paper to tell you how to call. No one answered. I went to the front desk to get a plunger - but he could not find it and was going to deliver to my room. This did not happen as he forgot to write my room number down.
BUT - Bed was comfortable and no noise above or around my room. Price was the best in town - but still expensive for a Motel.
