"The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on the area around the property is because they were sealing the asphalt, which closed down part of the parking lot for the 2 days we were there. There was also new bathroom material on the grass in the back. Both of these things are for improvements on the property, which they were in the midst of, so perhaps I shouldn't ding them. "We have stayed at The Latchis a few times now and it is always a nice place to stay, from the friendly helpful staff to the clean room and amenities. The room we stayed in this time was one we have previously stayed in and it was recently updated with new furniture and it was nice. The location is convenient and very walkable to stores and restaurants in the downtown area. We will definitely be returning to stay at The Latchis again. "
