The junior suite was fantastic for family of 3. Staff were available, respectful and very pleasant at all times. Only down side at present is construction of the beach front which limits facilities in the immediate area and everything else that comes with the work. However, long walks or very cheap Uber trips meant you could easily get around and the Hotel itself was very well soundproofed that it had limited impact on out trip. Once the beachfront is finished, looks in the latter stages, it will compliment the hotel in a lot of ways. Still glad we stayed despite the works as the suite and staff were excellent.

Beautifully modern and chic hotel, perfectly located for the beach. Rooms are spacious and clean. All of the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast in the restaurant was delicious, couldn't get enough of the croissants! Would definitely recommend a stay at the Hotel Fanat.

Hotel Fanat is a beautiful hotel, clean, and modern with beautiful interior design. The room was very spacious, with everything you would need as well as nice additions such as robe, slippers, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer and extra pillows, to name a few. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good, small but with a very nice selection, and something for everyone to enjoy. (My only suggestion would be to have a toast machine) The surrounding area is beautiful, the hotel is across the road from a pebble beach (Which is very normal for Croatia) and has been under going a construction project. The majority of the work has been completed, however they are in the process of building shops/beach cafes etc. the saving grace was a local supermarket which a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Getting into town was very convenient via uber costing no more than €5, and is about a 10minute car journey from the hotel. Location wise was perfect if you want some beach days as well as evenings out in town. Can’t recommend hotel Fanat enough and hope to be back in the near future, definitely within the next year the beach front would be full developed, with something for everyone to do. Kids playgrounds, cafes, etc. can’t wait!

Well maintained and very clean property. Staff has been very cooperative. Located near to the beach. Excellent breakfast with lots of varieties for veg and non-veg. Rooms are well sized. Located in a safe area. We have been told that swimming Pool has not working since months, but still being advertised on the website, so its bit of let down. Restaurant is of ok quality for the price and very limited options for vegeterians, but thats just a minor factor.

Hotel is beautiful, staff was very helpful especially reception. The beach across the street is under major renovation (major!) so our sea view was full of construction trucks and beach was unusable. I do not remember receiving communication about this when booking but it’s possible I missed it, either way it is good for other guests to be aware of.

Nice hotel but wrong year

Our stay was only one night. The hotel was very nice, but due to large construction works the entire area was a construction site. Closed beaches, dusty conditions and the sea view was completely ruined by construction works. None of this was communicated to us in advance. While the underground spa was beautiful, it was hampered by a lack of proper drainage, so the showers in the sauna could not be used for fear of flooding.

What I liked The staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Beach is very close. Rooms are clean. What I did not like The room I booked was supposed to be see front. This room was only partial sea view and not the same one that I booked.Staff insisted that it is the same room and declined to change it. The hotel is far away from the old town and centre. So, lots of taxis going and coming back. However, it is very close to the beach

The hotel is great and actually much nicer that it looks in the pictures. But what made our stay very exceptional was the manager Dube and the rest of his staff. Our bags were delayed by the airline and we were not getting any response when calling the next day. After more than 24 hours, Dube called them on our behalf and found out that the our bags had arrived. He took me in his car to the airport, walked to the baggage claim services and helped with retrieving our bags and brought me back to the hotel (30 minute drive each way). He refused my offer of any compensation for his time and effort. That is just going above and beyond for your guests which is not something you see very often these days. He turned a very stressful situation into a pleasant memory of our stay at his Hotel. Thank you so much.

Hotel Fanat was fantastic! The hotel is actually way better than the pictures, it has recently been updated so it has a very modern boutique feel to the place. It is located opposite a public beach which was nice to lie on some beach towels provided by the hotel. They are really small stones so not hard on your back at all. The food here is exceptional - I have to mention the beefsteak and truffle pasta which was absolutely divine! The staff are so lovely, welcoming and friendly - they were all amazing. We asked the manager where we could get the lovely little fig snacks that were in the rooms as we wanted to bring some back, he was so generous he just gave us two boxes to take home! The location is only a 15 minute cab ride into the centre of Split, Ubers cost around 6 euro each way. There is a little supermarket next to the hotel which is handy for things like water and snacks etc. They upgraded us to a suite when we got there which was amazing! It had two massive beds with two bathrooms which had lovely Rituals shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. Overall a brilliant hotel and very fairly priced. Highly reccomend!

Hotel Fanat has a freindly professional vibe toward customers, we noticed this extended amongst the staff members creating an overall enjoyable atmosphere. The quality of food and service at their restaurant is exceptional. Staying here has been an absolute pleasure.

A good hotel. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, the staff were polite and the location itself was far enough from the centre of Split to be very quiet whilst only being a leisurely hour stroll from Old Town. The cleanliness of the whole place and surrounding area was very good. Just a couple of negatives - the shower leaked onto our bathroom floor the whole time, which we raised 3 times with 2 different members of staff. Nothing was done about it the whole time we were there, with only vague promises of somebody from maintenence trying to fix it 'at some point'. Given we were in a 'deluxe suite', it didnt feel very deluxe. The area surrounding the hotel is also undergoing a lot of construction. Not a problem day-to-day, but getting public transport or taxis is doubly hard with blocked roads and this should have been something that the hotel is upfront about at check-in. The final slight plus point is that the sauna was unavailable for our entire stay. A couple of points off being a great hotel

This property is absolutely beautiful and spotless! It’s a charming boutique hotel, and our suite was so clean and comfortable that it felt like we were the very first guests to ever stay in it. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options. The beach right across from the hotel is pristine, and with all the new amenities and restaurants opening soon, this area will quickly become one of the best places for a family vacation. We took an Uber to Split’s downtown (Riva) every evening for nightlife and shopping — just an 8-minute ride that never cost more than €15. Overall, this is the cleanest and most family-friendly area to stay in, with unbeatable beach access. We can’t wait to come back!

Fine but not great

The hotel was very clean and the produce on the breakfast buffet was great quality however some things were just not up to standard. The beach area while still being finished is already looking good though. -Patchy WiFi -Weak Aircon -Bathroom fixtures not properly attached to the walls -Fire alarm went off and staff were unsure what to do, no explanation, evacuation process or apology -Noise from the landing really carried into our room late at night, i dont think other guests were excessively loud but it was enough to wake us up

O hotel se localiza longe da cidade histórica mas pela praia andando uns 5!kms se chega lá. É numa parte nova com muita obra e construção mas nada disso impediu o acesso. Acho que daqui a uns anos vai ser uma parte muito legal da cidade e totalmente à beira mar

Booked this hotel for a beach holiday. What it doesn't tell you on this site or the hotel website is there is a massive building project by the city being built all the way along the beach front in both directions it goes all along the coast. It is right across the road from the hotel & also next door. Sea view room was of the building site which has a permit to start work from 7am every day. You cannot sit on the balcony as everything gets covered in dust & is noisy. There is a tiny beach area 5 minutes up the road where you have to cross the entrance to the building site to get to & you can hear the machinery there. The other beach you can walk to is about 15 minutes walk. The beaches are man made full of chippings so you will see hardly any fish, take some swimming shoes. Suggest you buy a parasol about 15e from town as its 25e to hire 1. The hotel staff were really helpful and excellent service. We were there 8 days but not 1 of those days were the sauna switched on. Restaurant is closed Tuesday & Wednesdays but you can order food on one of the apps. We came downstairs on the Monday to get breakfast but couldn't have toast as there was no bread, not delivered yet! Strange a 4 star hotel don't bake their own bread but didn't even have a back up in the freezer. It later turned up. Breakfast is the same every day, overcooked scrambled eggs or fried or a small cold buffet, but not covered so full of flies so we didn't touch it. Hire a bike.

It was a good and comfortable stay at the hotel. Check-in was quick and easy. The man at the reception on 01st September afternoon was really helpful and friendly, provide us very useful information. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious, beds are clean and comfortable. Toilets are clean and bright.
