Extremely clean with real glasses, china cups and full size fluffy bath towels. The tub needs a non skid application as it is very slippery. Have already recommended this property to friends.

We had a very great experience staying at this location on our trip was easy to get to Deadwood from here,it was very clean and up to date. Was quiet throughout the night. The property manager was so helpful as soon as we had any issues. I highly recommend this place and the price couldn’t be beat, blown away how nice it was for the price, Hidden Gem

We loved this place, it was clean and well maintained. The only thing missing is a closet or hanging rack to hang our racks, everything else was on point. I would definitely stay there again

Great place to stay in Spearfish, especially if your riding your motorcycle. Easy walk to downtown Spearfish restaurants. Park right outside your room door and no steps! AC and WiFi both excellent! Bed very comfortable and the area around the motel is quiet. Room amenities all new. I will definitely stay here again, 5 stars!

First of all: Super clean room, and very modern / recently updated. Very well worth the price. However, the main thing I want to talk about is my experience rescheduling. I accidentally booked the wrong day, and I realized it the day before where I would've wanted to stay. It was very very easy to get it cancelled and rebooked at very little additional cost, and staff reassured me that it would work out. It did, so thank you very much!

Our room was a very pleasant surprise, impeccably clean and a fun place to stay. The young lady cleaning rooms happened to be onsite when we arrived. She was very polite and friendly. We will definitely book again the next time we’re in Spearfish! Only one addition that I would suggest is a closet bar on the wall for hanging clothes.🙂

The booking process and communication with the owners was very easy. The room itself is very modern and updated. However, it seems the counters were never wiped down from the previous people and it was really dusty and we kept sneezing only to realize that the air filter for the AC was clogged with dust so once we cleaned it, it was good. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place if you are a light sleeper, there’s absolutely no noise insulation. We could hear the conversations of the people next to us, their TV, them snoring and all the road noise. It was unfortunately not a great stay for us because of this. If you do book here, just make sure you have ear plugs and an eye masks, the porch lights are right by the blinds so it glares into the room.

Stayed 3 nights Jun 2026 with one other person. Perfect size for 2. Compact, good bed and shower. No stove but we were only there to sleep and shower, never turned on the TV. For some reason my GPS couldn't find the address and we drove around each night before finding it.

This is a very nice little hotel. The room was clean and recently renovated, very comfortable. I'm sometimes reticent about renting from small independent hotels because they're often in poor condition. Not so for queen City - it was a better place for a better price than the big chain hotels.

The rooms are small but very clean, newly remodeled. The property needs some blackout curtains as the outdoor lights are very bright and the shades don’t really block the room from being fully lit in the evenings.
