"I’ve stayed several times at the hotel and will return again. Great breakfast, very comfortable rooms, excellent location. The only negative was that it’s not apparent when booking through a third party (such as Expedia) that you’ll only receive a discount on parking if you book in advance with Q Parks and enter a discount code - the hotel don’t validate parking. This could have been highlighted in correspondence more prominently. However, would gladly stay again "

"Nice place with friendly staff. Only thing stopping me giving it a 10 was the aircon unit kept coming on in the night, was faulty. However the room was clean, good location for the theatre with a nice bar and breakfast. If you’re driving make sure to stay in the car park nearby where you can get discount."

"Everything about the property especially the staff are superb but its not appropriate not having even a single microwave and a fridge for customers use. Considering people with allergies or from different background would like to bring small portion of their food to refrigerate or warm prior eating. This does not affect the sales from the Indian restaurant and should be provided to attract more clients. Thanks"

"I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is."

"The gentleman at the front desk before reception was friendly, full of local knowledge and explained everything fully. The apartment was very clean and full of everything that may be needed. Will definitely book again."

"Staff were lovely! All very welcoming and efficient. The room was very clean but there was a dodgy socket and the water didn’t seem to drain quickly in my shower but these are easily fixed. It can be a bit noisy at times so bare that in mind. The hotel location is very central and great for a couple nights away. Thank you!"

"The hotel had lots of character. We couldnt fault the room. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The little touches like fresh milk and drinks in the fridge on arrival. Packed lunch every mornimg of our stay. Ideal location for exploring. The pianist in the restaurant in the evening was lovely.The food was very good."
