"A nice modern hotel. Clean and comfortable on a main road that will allow you to travel out to a bunch of different riding and hiking spots conveniently. Staff were friendly and as mentioned it was lovely and clean. Only recommendation would be to bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper and you happen to be in a room looking out on to the road. The windows are thick but seemingly not enough to block out noise from passing vehicles. "

"Room was good for the non-budget price and comfort more than ample for the days I stayed. Swimming pool and facilities overall excellent, very friendly and good atmosphere. Didn't take breakfast - in too much of a hurry each morning. Did use the Bistro within the hotel (but run independently) and that was good value. "Hotel location is ideal - next to the train station and less than 10 minute train ride to Manchester City with plenty of trains passing through. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful check-in was easy and there’s a secure luggage room if you arrive a bit early and want to explore without your suitcase. "Wonderful room in a good location to the Botanical Gardens. Cosy, all amenities including toiletries and lovely fresh pastries with beverages in the morning. Highly recommend. You might get noisy students outside the building in the night though!"
