"One of the best off interstate hotels I’ve rented in a long time. It was super clean, the staff were very friendly. Weekend breakfast is open until 10:00 and the buffet was fully stocked even at 9:45. "

"I gave The Courtland an "excellent" rating not because it is excellent in the same way I would rate a 5-star Hilton in downtown Portland, for instance. This is an historic building, in an historic part of Ft. Scott. It is run by ordinary folks and everything in that neighborhood is, well, historic (or old). So, it doesn't have glitz but it does have charm and it is peaceful. I would stay there again if I ever return to Ft. Scott. The owners are wonderful people. "
