Quiet, clean, and comfortable rooms. Good food served in hotel restaurant. Hotel staff eager to assist but unfortunately often hampered in their attempts to do so by inefficient management-mandated practices.

Across the street from the airport which is convenient. Very friendly staff but with some language issues. When I checked in, reiterated my request that we needed a room with two beds. They said it would be no problem but they would need a little time before room was ready. Later they told us that our room was now ready and that they had reconfigured the room from two beds to one. Yikes! We had to wait another two hours while reconfigured the room again!

The space is a very typical good quality hotel room, it was not very spacious but enough for our needs. The hotel has a pool and gym which we used as we stayed 2 nights. Breakfast (included) was wonderful and lunch and dinner (separate) was also very delicious. Earplugs can be handy as the mosque call to prayer starts very early and is repeated throughout the day.

It's ok for a night before catching an early flight in sorong. Good restaurant inside with reasonable dishes. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Room is good, bathroom is clean but it needs a refurbishment.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel before my sailing trip to Raja Ampat. It's new, modern, has a pool and a gym. Food is wonderful as are the mango smoothies. Service is excellent. My room was a bit on the small side in comparison to other Indonesian hotels but clean. I will stay here again if I return to Sarong

Swis Bel Hotel - Sorong

Was a descent stay. Rooms had a/c units that barely worked, black mold in the bathrooms. Food in the restaurant was great. Staff was friendly. Confirm about shuttle / taxis from Airport. We completed it at time of reservation and when we were traveling and couldn't get internet, we received so many emails about confirming our taxi rides.

Had a Transit Package a week ago and I already knew that when it was time to stay here.., that I’d love it. And indeed, I did. Beautiful lobby. Amazing staff. My room on the third floor had views over the water. Nothing was too difficult. I had a very early flight and would therefore miss breakfast, so it was all organised for me, to have a breakfast box prior to check out. Forgot a couple of items, and the staff were quick to respond to say they’d located them and have them there for me when I come back next week for another stay. Excellent. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay. Rooms are tidy. Laminate flooring is a little tired and maybe not greatest selection for a tropical environment but not a deal breaker. Lobby and dining facilities are very nice. Outdoor dining area is also a plus. Staff are really great so big shout out to them. Breakfast buffet has lots of choices and I’d think has something for everyone. We ate dinner a la carte and that, too, was tasty. I like to try street food but didn’t think that it was wise this time around. Booked a third night for when we come back from our liveaboard trip so that should say something. Beds were comfy too.

Staff were helping/polite. There is nothing around the hotel and the street is busy/noisy. Very poor meal options for vegetarians (no i did not say vegan), kitchen needs to upgrade its menu!

Nice place to re-energize after staying in homestays in the Raja Ampat area :) Strategic location between Airport (5-10 min drive) and Waisai Ferry, an easy 15 minutes walk or 5 min drive. Walk is well doable with backpacks and also felt safe during the day. Laundry shops just ~10 min walk away. Vast selection of local dishes for breakfast and restaurant open also for lunch and dinner. Grab driver picked us up there towards the airport without any issue (despite some reviews say differently). Recommended unconditionally.
