"Great location and great accommodation. Perfect spot if you have a dog with a dedicated garden space and walks close by. Myself and my dog loved our stay. "

"Lovely week spent in this apartment. Very quiet, very comfortable, Well equipped. Very central. Lots of stairs which didn't bother us at all but might be difficult for others. Tesco supermarket within 5 minute walk. Would like to stay again on our next visit to Wells."

"Great location, but overly hot with hard to control heating and a little tired and dated. Access to the large parking area is very tight. Not practical if you drive a 4x4"

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane.
Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity.
Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property.

"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there.
The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good.
Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there.
Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"Check in was simple. Brean beach is fantastic for long walks. Brean itself isn’t so great. The accommodation was basic, smelt damp. Oven was filthy. Not somewhere I would recommend. Overpriced for what it was."

"Great location.
Clean and well decorated room.
Quirky touches.
Lots of milk, coffee, tea and cookies in room.
Good portion at breakfast.
There is no dinner options, but you can order in a d use the dinning room. Very charming"
"A really nice hotel with very nice staff. The spa facilities are excellent. The thing that lets it down a bit is the poor maintenance standards - it has been allowed to get a bit dated in some places and some drainpipes were spilling out onto the wall rather than a drain etc. This wouldn't prevent me from recommending it but I want to set a realistic expectation and to encourage the owners to invest in this lovely hotel.
It is adjacent to woodland walks, so great for dog walks.
The breakfast was nice although perhaps slightly old fashioned. eg. a woman was complaining that the glasses for juice were really small, which used to be the norm but people object now. It didn't bother me but it does typify that the place sometimes was a little old fashioned. If they updated it even a bit, it could be seen as a very luxurious place, as it is lovely."
"The room had recently been refurbished so it was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Staff as always were great. This was my 5th visit and I will definitely be back!"
"Location was good , bed clean other than that dreadful. Carpet was filthy , no WiFi even though it said free WiFi , no hot water for the 2 days, bacon run out at breakfast, even thought was 9.15am no yoghurts , the tables were dirty and very sticky , whole place needs a complete re vamp, out dated , dirty , sadly won’t be returning"
"We had a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the room was spacious and comfortable. One negative point: the bathroom extractor fan wasn't working and the shower wasn't handheld, but fixed to the wall, causing a lot of splashing."
"Firstly I would not recommend this place to stay to anyone.
On the plus side the room was clean but any so called amenities were pretty basic for what was described as 4 star.
To be told on arrival by the manager/chef/barman/probably everything this as he seemed to be the only person on the premises, that there was no food due to no delivery was a bit of a blow. Then be told that an English breakfast was going to be an additional £8 per head also didn't go down well. We were informed that breakfast was between 8-10.
Thankfully we were only staying the one night, as in the morning no breakfast appeared infact nobody in the place seemed to be around.
My wife and I began to think apart from others who were staying noone
else was in the property, infact I had to unlock the front entrance first thing. We ended up leaving our room keys on the bar and left.
Clearly the place is being run if you can say run on a shoe string.
Unless some serious organisation/work on the place is carried out ASAP
then closure is inevitable, which would be a great shame for a lovely building."
