"Great location, but overly hot with hard to control heating and a little tired and dated. Access to the large parking area is very tight. Not practical if you drive a 4x4"

"We had an amazing time staying at Allercott Farm. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very peaceful at night, and you’re right in the middle of Exmoor so you can drive for around 20 minutes any way at all and find yourself at one of the many walks.
Hosts were awfully lovely, as were their several friendly dogs who were keen to say hello.
We’d absolutely consider staying again sometime to visit more of the national park. 😊"

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane.
Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity.
Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property.

"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there.
The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good.
Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there.
Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented.
A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake!

"Check in was simple. Brean beach is fantastic for long walks. Brean itself isn’t so great. The accommodation was basic, smelt damp. Oven was filthy. Not somewhere I would recommend. Overpriced for what it was."

"The hotel was easy to find with good parking.
Check in was straight forward.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was very good, except for the scrambled eggs which were extremely watery,
there was plenty of choice and I was able to have a substantial full English."
"Room was clean and tidy. Bar was fine, lovely outside area. Large car park. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced. Breakfast was varied and plentiful"
"First the pros.
The staff are wonderful!! Super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also amazing! Good selections and tastes delicious! The restaurant area is nicely decorated and modern. There’s a good selection of toiletries and we had a nice large room with high ceilings.
Now the cons.
The parking garage is very tight and the other option is a paid lot down the street, just not very convenient. The bed and pillows were so hard and the walls are thin. Didn’t sleep well but I’m also a light sleeper. Generally a dated look upstairs. You also need to check into your room at the bar and carry your luggage through the restaurant. No elevator.
It did seem like they were doing some renovations though and going by what the restaurant looks like it’ll be lovely! I did feel the good outweighs the bad though and I’d stay again. I’ll just bring my own pillow next time!"
"Facilities were great ,and the recently updated food menu was great ,all staff excellent, room was immaculate, bar was great ,all in all a great stay 😀 "
"A friendly and supportive receptionist greeted me. The room was bright, fresh and clean. A good night's sleep was had in a comfortable bed followed by a powerful hot shower in the morning. "
