Great hotel in a quiet environment & good service

Very comfortable and clean room and bed, friendly staff, breakfast buffet offers a good variety of food, swimming pool is very nice with lounge chairs to relax outside when the weather allow to do so. It is situated in a quiet and green environment, with great outdoor amenities to enjoy a drink, a walk, ... In addition to the restaurant in the hotel, there are some nice other ones not too far.

Nice hotel

Good stay in nice surroundings but note this is 45 mins walk to nearest station and town . Great for walking biking and nature . Told hotel air conditioning was too noisy .

The room was spacious, clean and well-maintained. Every staff member was very kind and had great service. The swimming pool was alright, but the sauna area really needed an update: there were wooden planks missing in the dry sauna and it was just overall very outdated.

Great hotel with a well-organized fitness studio, pool, and sauna. Uncomplicated parking area, perfect for weekend trips or golfing. Recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing place in the nature near Utrecht. Excellent hotel - Value for money

The hotel is beautiful with decoration of fine art and furniture and the staff are nice and friendly. The bathroom could improve on its cleanliness, but the rest of the hotel room and building was very clean and it is already amazing. The food was excellent with a wide variety of cheese, sausages, bread, smoothies, and drinks and so on. The swimming pool and sauna and steam is very luxurious. The surrounding environment is beautiful countryside and there are towns close by which is good for shopping. Free parking available on site. Highly recommended.

Ok but could be better

The toilet hole was dirty on the side and the shower was blocked. The rest of the room was clean to a very perfect standard. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows’ only option were too soft. The bottles from the restaurant were emptied to the recycling bins close to our room around 23:00 which disturbed our sleep.

I was given a room (no. 31) that is equipped for a handicapped person; in particular the bathroom. No furniture had been taken out of the shower; as if I had to take a shower while being seated on a shower chair. This should not be given to a non-handicapped person; or at least done that the shower is free of access etc.

Het hotel zelf doet op het eerste gezicht niet heel bijzonder mooi of gezellig aan, maar de kamers maken dat meer dan goed. Ruim, schoon, luxe ingericht. Erg prettig. Zwembad en spa zouden ietsje schoner kunnen, maar fijn dat het er is en wel netjes onderhouden. Wat ik dan weer een beetje armetierig vindt is de 7,50€ bezorgkosten voor roomservice. Komt op mij weinig luxe over, en past ook niet bij het karakter van een DoubleTree of Hilton. Jammer!

I was very disappointed to be informed upon arrival that parking would incur an additional €30 charge. This was never clearly stated at the time of booking, nor was I given the option to choose whether I required parking. Such charges should be disclosed upfront so that guests can make an informed decision. I believe this fee was both unexpected and unreasonable, and I request that the amount be refunded. I hope the hotel will consider this feedback to ensure future guests are fully informed of all charges in advance. Sincerely, Hamed Y
